This workshop is designed for teachers, behavior analysts, and other professionals working with students who are ready to take that next step. We will cover when, why, and how to teach:
-true independence
-mands for information
-mands for “help”
-problem solving
-token systems/level systems
-cooperative learning
-skill acquisition in a group format
-self- monitoring

Participants will learn about limitations in the value of social stories, and especially of “social autopsies”, and will learn a template for overcoming these limitations.
